Breastfeeding Support Services & Classes
As certified birth and postpartum doulas we are able to support you with your breastfeeding concerns. We are lactation counselors working towards our certification and are available for private consultations at our Centre or in your home. You may also choose to join our postpartum classes on breastfeeding and newborn care.

The Best Is Yours to Give – Breastfeeding Class
- Breastfeeding is the natural and most nutritious way of feeding babies. It is also a learned art that can take patience and guidance. The trick to breastfeeding well is getting the baby to latch on properly. A baby who latches on well, gets milk well. A baby who latches on poorly has difficulty getting milk.
- In this 2 hour class proper latch techniques are demonstrated through video and practical hands on experience in a relaxing atmosphere.
- A follow up breastfeeding visit after the birth of your baby is included.
